Meet Walter -
Founder of BLUE RIDGE DOODLES
Hey, how are you?  I'm Walter, the founder of Blue Ridge Doodles.

My wife and I have been breeding English Cream Golden Retrievers and Goldendoodles for over 18 years.  I truly love our dogs, and they are a huge part of my everyday life.  I spend my mornings and evenings with them, and one of my favorite things to do is work in the yard while the dogs play nearby.  

We've lived in many different states over the years, but Tennessee is definitely our favorite place to call home.  

Life has brought its share of challenges.  I've had some health issues and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  These days, I jokingly say that I'm battery operated, complete with a pacemaker and defibrillator!  But through it all, God has been so good to me.  I certainly would not have chosen this path, but I am thankful for the life, family, and blessings He has given me.

My wife and I are what you might call a divided house - she loves the beach, and I love the mountains!  Outside of that, though, we enjoy many of the same things and hobbies.  At night, you'll often find us relaxing and watching old TV sitcoms from the 1960s and 1970s.

We have been married for over 35 years and are blessed with two daughters and three wonderful grandchildren.  When we're not spending time with our dogs, we love getting together with family and making memories with our children and grandchildren.

And perhaps most importantly, our faith and ministry are a big part of who we are.  We love serving in the ministry and being a part of people's lives.

At the end of the day, Blue Ridge Doodles is about much more than dogs and puppies.  It's about family, faith, love, and sharing something that has brought so much joy and comfort into our own lives.
