Hey, how are you? I'm Walter, and I'm the founder of Blue Ridge Doodles. My wife and I have been breeding English Cream Goldens and Golden Doodles for over 16 years. We love our dogs. I spend my morning and evening with my dogs. I enjoy doing yard work while they are playing near by. We have lived in many states, but Tennessee is our favorite. I'm colorblind so yellows and light blues are my favorite colors since I can see them. When we go out for a drive on the Blue Ridge, I enjoy wearing my color blind glasses. They allow me to see the beautiful colors that mountains hold.
I have had my health issues lately. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I currently am battery operated now! Complete with a pacemaker and defibrillator. God sure has been good to me because I would not have chosen this path.
My wife and I are a house divided, she likes the beach and I like the mountains. Outside of that, we like the same things and hobbies. At night we enjoy watching Alfred Hitchcock's films and sitcoms from the 1960s. We have been married 33 years, and have two daughters and three grandchildren.
When we aren't with our dogs, we are meeting up with family and spending time with our kids and grandkids.

THE GUARDIAN FAMILIES OF BLUE RIDGE
At Blue Ridge we incorporate a guardian family program into our business. The dams and stud who live in our household are our pets. The other dogs live in carefully selected guardian homes where they are the family pet as well. We do this to ensure that all the animals in our line are given the best lives and love possible. We look forward to introducing those families to you below.
