Hello again! I wanted to share with you about why I love Golden Doodles. They sure can keep you on your toes! My doodles love to play in the water, especially mud puddles.

In this entry, I want to answer the question that many people ask me frequently. What is the difference between Golden Doodles & Labradoodles? Both Goldendoodles and Labradoodles are great dogs, but their personalities do differ. This analogy sums up both breeds, “A Golden Doodle will sit by the fire with your family. A Labradoodle will go get the wood for the fire.” Both breeds can serve a family well. Both offer companionship and can be trained to complete tasks. At their core, a Golden Doodle wants to be with you and a Labradoodle will desire to have a task. So you will need to ask yourself, which personality would serve you better. That will help you make your decision of which breed is the best fit. Personally, the Goldendoodle is the best fit for me. They love movement and exercise and love the attention and companionship of their families. I love spending time with my affectionate pets.
Because human interaction is vital for my doodles, I try my best to socialize my puppies with not only me but others that come to my house. It’s important for breeders to start socializing as soon as possible, and that is something we do very well at Blue Ridge Doodles. In my next entry, I will give some basic tips on how to raise a well behaved Goldendoodle.
